Katherine Teed-Arthur was born in Toronto, Ontario, where she grew up with her two brothers and her parents. She has been performing as long as she can remember, but found acting at age 7, when she was cast as a mouse-thief in her second grade play. Since then, she has performed in musicals, contemporary plays, Shakespeare plays, student films, and adaptations of Greek comedies.
Katherine moved to New York City in 2015 for college and has no intention of leaving. It was in college that she found media design. She started designing sound in 2016 and expanded later that year to projections and media. Since then she has worked on experimental theatre, solo shows, interactive video installations, and more.
Katherine Teed-Arthur an actor and media designer. Previous acting credits at The New School include: Joan (Melancholy Play), Chorus (Orestes), Ensemble (The Winter's Tale), Titania (Midsummer Night's Dream). She has recently worked with Ping Chong + Company on their production of Generation NYZ and tour of Beyond Sacred, and Restless NYC on their production of THIS WAS THE END at Mabou Mines. She has both designed and operated multiple student productions at The New School.
